As decreed by the Emperor, the
highest posts in the military are the Joint Chiefs, comprising 2 generals
chosen by the Army, 2 admirals chosen by the Navy, the Judge Advocate General,
and the chairman – the Magister Militum. Those 6 people run a
force which numbers millions, all licenced to kill, in a society
where the military are also the police.
There are two major branches to the
military - the army and the navy. These two have different rank
structures, and means of undertaking their business.
